As a buyer, you are looking for the best product at the lowest price. The product is normally for resale or for use in your business. As you have already found out, you can save a lot of money buying products directly from the manufacturer. The only problem is that you can not tell who you can trust. It has been estimated that as many as 30% of all ads on international trade sites are not legitimate. Every transaction is a risk. U.S. Import Services acts as a safe guard between the buyer and the seller. Pick any product in our classified ad section. Make your best deal with the seller or manufacturer. When your ready to make the deal, hit the “buy now” button. U.S. Import Services will verify the order with you either by phone or email. We will then invoice you for your order. You pay U.S. Import Services and not the manufacturer. We put your money in an escrow account until we verify that the shipment has been sent. Once the shipment is on the way, we release the money. We only do business with companies that have agreed to these terms. The price you pay is exactly what you negotiated with the seller. U.S. Import Services does not charge a fee to the buyer. You have the choice to either “self import” which means that you will import the product yourself, or if you choose U.S. Import Services will import the product for you. If you choose to have U.S. Import Services import the product for you, we add 5% of the invoiced value of the shipment plus expenses such as duties and taxes. In most cases, unless you have a lot of experience importing freight, it is less expensive to have U.S. Import services import the product for you. It is entirely your choice. In no case should you ever send money directly to a manufacturer. If any manufacturer or seller ask you to send money to them directly, you should contact us immediately. In most cases this is a fraudulent request, and we will ban that manufacturer from any future use of our website. The only way to keep your transaction safe is by paying through U.S. Import Services.
